Jewellery: annie sherburne
Annie Sherburne, along with her family, design and make a unique collection of contemporary jewellery. Using a combination of recycled and vintage materials, they have created three delightful ranges. The cellulose acetate range is fabricated from this biodegradable material which is derived from plant sourcesand is fully biodegradable. The selection is finite as the material itself is from a vintage waste stream, in fact offcuts from spectacle frames made up until the 1970's and no longer available. The mosaic range uses vintage crystals, beads and semi precious stones. Each piece being truly unique due to the differing shapes, cut and colours of the stones and beads. The Metal range is made from simple, but beautiful shapes and designs stamped out of brass, copper, steel and gilding metals. Careful and often intricate patination processes and the addition of the occasional antique stone complete this popular range of brooches, pendants, earrings and cufflinks.
